Job Description
Performing month-end and year-end closings
Reviewing, preparing and approving journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, trend analysis and other financial matters
Partnering with the business on revenue recognition and reviewing customer's contracts
Completing all corporate and statutory requirements in an accurate and timely manner
Maintaining good internal controls within the business and accounting processes
Driving accounting operations with functional excellence
Driving a culture of continuous process improvement within the team
Collaborating with counterparts from different regions towards consistency
Streamlining accounting processes locally and regionally
Managing internal and external stakeholders (ie., banks, auditors, other regulatory bodies)
Supervising and developing team members
Managing finance records as per internal and statutory requirements
Involving in cash optimisation, business performance metrics or KPIs and transitioning to paperless transactions and processes
Participating in other ad-hoc projects
