1. What is FreelanceZone?
Freelance Zone is a one-stop job search portal for job seekers when looking for freelance or part time job positions. Entirely free of charge, registered job seekers will be able to search for jobs from various companies and categories, learn about job opportunities and build resumes online. We are the first to offer a dedicated online network for freelance and part time jobs, home working environment for Singapore market.
2. What is Public job ad?
Most of the job ads listed in Freelance Zone are available to registered members only. However, if the job is marked as Public, which means this position is opened for both registered members and guests.
Everyone is welcome to send in your C.V if the job requirements do match your personal profile.
3. What is Service Ad?
To give yourself another boost to advertise your services to the public as well as the hirers. As in Freelance and Part time nature, some of our hirers might not have time to wait for the job applicants. They prefer to seek for the freelance or part time services actively. Listing your services under Service Ads will give the hirers opportunity to reach you for their outsourcing needs, freelance assignments and short term projects.
4. How can I sign up as a job seeker with Freelance Zone?
To register as a job seeker for Freelance Zone, simply fill up the Job Seeker Registration Form. All you need is a personal email account that is active and frequently checked. This will ensure that you are kept abreast of the latest relevant job openings along with Freelance Zone updates. Complete the form with your email address along with a password of your choice.
5. How do I search and apply for jobs?
At Freelance Zone, you can perform searching and browsing for any listed job ads by simply providing the search keywords. Our smart search system will be able to filter the right jobs for you based on your keywords and the selected job category.

There are 2 options to apply for a job position. The hirers can enable both options or one single option. If both are enabled, you can either email your C.V directly to the hirer based on the hirer contact details OR apply online by clicking on the button located at the bottom of the job description page.
6. I am unable to login. What should I do?
For Internet Explorer, kindly check if Javascripts and Cookies are enabled.
You can follow the instructions as below.

How to check and enable Javascripts:
1. Click the Tools menu at the top of the screen.
2. Click Internet Options...
3. A new window will open up. Click the Security tab at the top of the window.
4. Click the Default Level button.
5. Click the Advanced tab at the top of the window
6. Click Restore Defaults.
7. Click OK.
8. Close Internet Explorer and reload the Freelancezone.com.sg

How to check and enable Cookies:
1. Click the Tools menu at the top of the screen
2. Click Internet Options...
3. A new window will open up. Click Privacy tab at top
4. Click Advanced
5. Click choices to Override Auto Control Handling, Always Allow Session Cookies
6. Click OK to accept changes
7. Close Internet Explorer and reload the Freelancezone.com.sg
7. Help! I can't remember my password!
Lost Password? You can easily retrieve back the password by clicking on the "forgot password?" located at the Sign in page. You will need to provide your registered email address and click on the "Send Reminder" button, an email will be sent to you with your login ID and password..

If you have forgotten which email account was registered on Freelance Zone, click here to contact us. In order for us to verify that you are the rightful owner of the account, please include your full name, NRIC, contact number and the mailing address. Our support team will then contact you shortly to assist you further.
8. From the job description page, where can I find the hirer contact details?
You can easily see the hirer contact details located at the right side of the job description page. However, when the job position is already filled or the application date is ended, the hirer contact details will no longer be visible.
9. Why can't I see the contact details even when I have logged in successfully?
Unless it is a Public job ad, the contact details will only be visible to registered members only. If you have logged in the system successfully, kindly press Ctrl+F5 to refresh the internet browser cache if the contact detail is not showing.
10. What is account stored Credits? Why do I need it?
Account stored credits are needed to redeem for a wide range of online services offered by FreelanceZone.com.sg

For Hirer, you can use these credits to apply for various job upgrading options.
For Job Seekers, you can use these amount of credits to advertise your freelance and part time services.

Account Stored Credits are not eligible to encash or transfer between members in any circumstances. However, we do offer refund under certain criteria (read more from our refund policy).
11. I have just made an online payment via Paypal, but the amount is not reflected on my account balance?
Once you received the payment receipt successfully from Paypal, your transaction is 100% secured on FreelanceZone.com.sg.

However, if you did not click on the "Return To FreelanceZone.com.sg" button from Paypal for instant credits approval, the amount will not be reflected on your account balance immediately. We have a verification system that auto-run every 24h to perform credits approval for payments that are failed to return from Paypal with instant credits approval.
12. If I use AccountSwitch feature and own both Job Seeker and Service Hirer account, can I transfer credits between them?
Yes, you can transfer credits via our online feature or contact us for assistant.
Please note that all complimentary, bonus and free credits are not transferable. They are part of the promotions that are valid only to the selected account type.
13. I have just purchased job advertisement posting package, but the new package is not reflected on my account.
Once you received the payment receipt successfully from Paypal, your transaction is 100% secured on FreelanceZone.com.sg.
From Paypal, you need to click on the "Return To FreelanceZone.com.sg" for instant approval. In the case that if you have forgotten to click on the return button from Paypal, the purchased advertising package might not be reflected on your account immediately. Your buy advertisement package will be approved manually within 24 hours.
