Introduction
Reactor designs, develops and delivers Entrepreneurship Education (EntreEd) programmes for students aged 13 to 24. We work with districts and school leaders across Southeast Asia to implement EntreEd within their curriculum using our edutech tools. At our core, we help students turn their ideas into projects, and their projects into companies. Our mission is to Cultivate the Galaxy’s Best Young Founders.
Reactor is currently in the midst of regionalizing, and will be setting up satellite centers across Southeast Asia. This will allow our Reactor Alumni to network across the region, as well as encourage our portfolio startups to form international startup teams. Together with more than 200 industry experts and mentors from all over Southeast Asia, we are constantly experimenting and building the best curriculum and software tools for aspiring student founders.
We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our growing team.
Reporting to the Head of Reactor School, you will support the team in ensuring end-to-end execution of the Reactor EntreConference program - include planning, designing, executing, coordinating. You will be assisting the team in overseeing stakeholder management with our educators, schools, partners and students.
Reactor EntreConference is a 4-Day/5-Day entrepreneurship study trip for students, aged 13-24 , to embark on an exciting journey of entrepreneurial discovery whilst meeting founders and venture capitalists within the regional startup ecosystem.

Duties & Responsibilities
The following are indicators only, and will likely change and evolve as the company grows. During the application process, we will assess how well candidates will be able to perform the following tasks.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of programmes (Reactor EntreConference)
Coordinate all administrative planning, logistical and programme support such as booking and liaising of event venues, catering and transport services
Responsible for procurement of training ops materials and teaching resources needed for programme delivery
Support the learning objectives and post-programme evaluation process e.g. Post-Programme Report for partner universities/high schools or Progress Report Card for parents
Work with students to ensure an experiential and hands-on learning experience - from team formation, problem identification, problem-solution fit, idea validation and elevator pitch delivery.
Job Requirement
Requirements for Values and Attitudes
Demonstrate the 5 Reactor core values: #PeopleFirst, #MoveFast, #BeBold, #HaveFun, and #BeAwesome. This is a deal-breaker; we hire based on values, attitudes and skills, in that particular order. We believe that with the right values and attitudes, skills can be picked-up over time.
Have the right attitude: Be a first principles thinker, demonstrate a growth mindset, be able to practise radical candour, and be relentlessly resourceful. (If you haven’t heard of Carol Dweck, Kim Scott or Paul Graham, we would strongly encourage you to google them up before hitting ‘Apply’.)
Be trustworthy, personable and be able to build rapport with others. Be someone that your fellow teammates can look up to and respect at all times. Be warm, be humble and be self-aware. We do not tolerate brilliant jerks here at Reactor.
Be fiercely inquisitive, driven and passionate about startups, technology and entrepreneurship.

Requirements for Skills and Qualifications

We do not look at academic achievements or certificates when hiring; the year is 2023 and we are beyond that. We will look at your portfolio and what you’ve built, your unique experiences and what you’ve learned, as well as the potential value that you can bring to #TeamReactor.
Proven experience with organising events and coordinating between stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of programme.
Proven experience in a related field such as startups, venture capital, accelerators, incubators or venture building programmes.
Possess an expansive network consisting of entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, venture capitalists and industry partners.
Demonstrate strong cross-cultural competency to communicate with clients/partners across different countries.
Able to structure, execute and manage operational risk on projects simultaneously.
Highly independent, nimble and proactive with a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Application Process & How to Apply

Step 1 of 4. Tell us more about yourself over video. You will complete an online self-interviewing tool. This shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes, and it also helps everyone save time from having to travel excessively.
Step 2 of 4. Complete a skills-based challenge. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll send you a few tasks to test for your entrepreneurial aptitude and skills. This shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes, and it’ll help you better understand what will be expected of the role.
Step 3 of 4: Finding alignment with your Reporting Officer. We’ll then introduce you to your Reporting Officer (RO), as well as some of the other members of #TeamReactor. During this discussion, we hope to modify/update the job description to balance out what the team needs help with, as well as how we can best leverage on your gifts, strengths and expertise.
Step 4 of 4. Meet with the Chief People Officer. Separately, or on the day itself, you'll also meet with the Chief People Officer (CPO). Upon selection, we will discuss matters related to People Ops, including culture, working hours, other commitments, as well as compensation and benefits. An official Employment Contract will then be drafted for your review. This is also the time for you to test us; we invite you to ask us the difficult questions to see if #TeamReactor really lives up to all that we claim to be.
