Job Description
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Beata Kosmider at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Our research projects focus on several areas within the overall theme of identifying novel insights into lung disease mechanisms and the translational integration of mechanistic studies in relevant physiological models. Methods used in these projects include molecular techniques and cell culture.
The successful candidate will develop and execute experimental procedures, interpret results, present data at scientific conferences, and prepare manuscripts for publication. The candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Requirement
Candidates must meet the following minimum education and skills:
Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. degree.
A background in molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
Training and knowledge in mammalian cell culture or molecular techniques.
Demonstrated productivity.
Self-motivated but team-oriented.
Critical thinking and results-focused.
