The position will support the Digital Marketing Team in creating monthly cutdowns for lead brands HISTORY and Lifetime’s YouTube and Facebook channels and develop a strong year-round content make list that aligns with our fans interests in our priority markets. In addition, you will work with our social media intern and wider marketing team, ensuring we are all working towards the same content and audience engagement goals.
With your youthful knowledge of current digital content trend, you will identify opportunities for growth and further improve the content’s performance, providing recommendations for new strategies and tactics to meet goals.
We are looking for a highly-driven, pro-active candidate who excels at organising and keeping track of content make lists, has experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, can make editorial edits, and is able to provide recommendations based on data and analytics in an organized and clear manner. You are passionate about building connections with current and future fans on History and Lifetime’s YouTube Channel through community management and developing inspiring content.
You are required to carry out the duties (which may be reviewed and/or amended from time to time) that the Company deems to be within your skills and capabilities.
Create monthly content make lists for YouTube, consisting of in-license programmes, ensuring license expiry dates and TX dates are adhered to
Populate YouTube and Facebook channels with cutdowns and longform content, according to audience trends and program license agreements
Upload cutdowns to YT SEA and FB Watch channels
Quality control cutdowns prepared by third parties and ensure smooth delivery to agency and uploaded on to YT
Manage flow of approx. 160 pieces of content across Lifetime and HISTORY YT Channels a month
Uploading videos onto YouTube once approved, ensuring geoblock settings are followed
Updating documents with dates of video upload, and communicating with external and affiliate agencies
Regularly updating YouTube and Facebook channel banners and trailers
Ensure all videos are being published as per schedule and any spelling, grammatical, episode title, or other errors are corrected asap
Creation of thumbnails, video captions and descriptions where relevant
Creating and keeping track of hygiene lists related to content relicensing, budgeting, long-form, and ad-sales requests, where relevant
Undertake other tasks that may commensurate with the position and as reasonably requested by team members from time to time
