Job Description:
Support the partner sales process, identifying areas of potential acceleration of stage progression in each of the steps of the sales cycle from pipeline to close (win)
Manage and develop strong relationships with our partners, including educating them on Programs, Incentives, Training materials and internal products that they can leverage to keep a healthy sales cycle in their pipeline
Qualify Leads/ Validate opportunities - Developing prospecting methodologies
Provide excellent service to the partners and team members by proactively and creatively understanding and solving partners’ problems
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of programs to increase Partners win rate and pipeline progression of client sourced opportunities
Analyze data trends, market dynamics and partner performance, identify opportunities and create implementation plans to maximize results
Supporting partner community with training, materials and ongoing support
Engage and coordinate with internal groups such as Sales, Partner and Sales Development teams as needed to resolve partners’ issues and maximize pipeline and won deals
Job Requirement
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing (in lieu, min. 2-3 years of relevant work experience)
2 year channel sales or channel management or B2B sales and/or business development experience preferably at a tech company
Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive approach to tasks
Objective and analytical approach to decision making
Performance oriented - motivated by sales targets and competition
Proven ability to build relationships and deliver in a cross-functional / matrixed environment
Ability to maintain control of communication length and direction and articulate under pressure
Proven track record in channel or B2B Sales with consistent performance above quota
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and balance multiple, disparate work streams
A basic understanding of Cloud industry Preferred 3 years or B2B sales and/or business development experience preferably at a tech company
Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS industry and competitive landscape
Good analytical, problem-solving skills Knowledge of Cloud Products
