Upmesh is a rapidly-growing tech startup on a mission to reinvent how people shop, through merging entertainment with shopping to create new shared experiences and grow new communities where people buy, sell, and connect in exciting new ways. Already operating in four countries, we are on a trajectory to bring together community and commerce in SEA, empower small and medium merchants to scale and enable versatility and convenience in the ever-changing buying landscape of the digital consumer.We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

What you'll do:
Handle inbound leads, schedule demos and onboard merchants onto the Upmesh system.
Generate leads & develop business strategies to identify high potential prospects.
Plan, execute and measure campaigns to test & validate high potential business development initiatives
Work on outbound development initiatives including, but not limited to: explore new verticals, new sales channels & B2B partnerships
Build use cases, showcase success stories and participate in additional activities such as research and data analysis to support marketing effort and build customer engagement and drive demand generation.
Work and collaborate with a cross functional team that includes business development, account management, customer success, product and marketing.
Job Requirement
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree

  • Driven and hungry for growth to join the team in expanding markets and pushing boundaries
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Enjoy tackling complex business situations and have creative problem solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Have passion and flair for engaging, building rapport and influencing stakeholders
  • Possess a strong learning attitude
  • Competent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable and enjoy working with multi disciplinary & cultural teams
