- Prepare and serve menu items in compliant with menu recipe and standards.
- Prepare work stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service.
- Prepare mise-en-place for daily menus including basic sauces and supplementary garnishes.
- Track and date stamp food items.
- Ensure that food storage at station is tidy and well maintained.
- Inform Sous Chef of replenishments and new orders.
- Assist in receiving goods and ensure quality of goods delivered by suppliers.
- Follow instructions on ingredient handlings to minimize food waste.
- Proper use of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Open and close work stations correctly with checklists.
- Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.
- Comply to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure and adhere to HACCP and all food safety procedures.
- To take responsibility for contributing towards own development and attend training sessions or courses when required.
- Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Sous Chef.
