Investment Analyst

Investment Management - Participate in the development and / or periodic review of our clients’ investment policy, strategic asset allocation (SAA), and tactical asset allocation (TAA) - Prepare regular portfolio review and recommendation materials for our clients’ investment committees and / or other staff - Prepare and draft investment memos related to investment manager subscriptions or redemptions - Perform quantitative analysis related to asset allocation, risk monitoring, and performance attribution - Monitor and analyze a client portfolio’s geographical, sector, and / or currency exposures - Liaise with the Client Reporting group in the preparation of clients’ performance reports - Answer clients’ questions and requests on an ad-hoc basis Manager Research - Source new ideas and monitor existing strategies by attending and participating in meetings with portfolio managers and other senior investment personnel - Author research comments detailing findings on a manager’s strategy after manager meetings - Participate in the authoring of investment due diligence reports - Liaise with the Data Processing group for any manager data request - Serve as a resource to colleagues seeking current information on investment opportunities, including data and analysis, comparisons across fund managers, and the opinion of the research team Business Development - Work closely with the Investment Directors in the Singapore office to support business development efforts in the region. - This includes liaising with the Global Business Development (GBD) team to coordinate resources and support, responding to RFPs from prospects, and preparing presentation materials for a pitch - Provide regular updates to the GBD team regarding the business development efforts in the Asia region Other duties as assigned, as earned, and as the group evolves

Skills : - A demonstrated interest in investments and the capital markets - Familiarity with computer databases and spreadsheets, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - A demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team - Shows good initiative and a curiosity to learn - Strong analytical and communication skills - Excellent organizational skills, keen eye for detail, ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously Qualifications : - Bachelor’s degree (any major) with a record of high academic achievement - no experience required and individuals with 0-2 years of work experience are welcomed to apply All applications must include a resume AND a cover letter in a single PDF document
