Job Description
As a member of the Delta Global Capital team, the Graduate Analyst role is wide reaching and will include rotating through several functions including Accounting & Operations and Investing & Portfolio Management. The successful candidate will focus on building solutions for asset custody, performance reporting, contribution to investment analysis and research, developing risk analytics and attribution metrics, and producing both periodic and ad-hoc investment reports all while operating in a high-performance team oriented environment. Responsibilities: - Taking on real responsibility from day one, by contributing to building a robust investment operations framework and developing key systems/processes to ensure the fund operates in a controlled environment - Monitoring and analysing existing investment activities - Preparing reports and substantiating change recommendations - Developing and reporting on performance and risk attribution - Reconciling the firm’s books and records against banks and custodians - Assisting in the fund accounting process and taking responsibility for preparation of daily NAVs - Ad-hoc projects central to improving efficiency and creating a robust control environment - Assisting the team with investment research, analysis and due diligence across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income and alternatives
Job Requirement
- Degree in a quantitative/technical or finance discipline from a top tier institution - Previous internship or work experience at an Investment Bank or Asset Manager is desirable but not essential - Exceptional technology and analytical skills. Must be an exceptional Excel user/developer - Significant interest in financial markets, with a strong attention to detail - Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get involved with the detail. Must be comfortable with a broad set of responsibilities, from complex financial analysis to basic operational administration - Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
