We at Sandpiper Hotel Singapore are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Assistant to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at our hotel's front desk. 

A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Importantly, we are looking for a local who has good knowledge of Singapore.

And must have sufficient IT skills like handling guests check-in and check-out on property managemt system. The individual must know how to create a reservation booking on the property management system on the computer. The individual must be able to answer the Hotel Whatsapp and facebook messenger enquiries. The person must have at least 3 to 4 years experience in working in small sized hotels in the position of front desk. The individual must have basic knowledge of doing housekeeping chores if needed. And must know how housekeeping functions in the hotels. 

The individual must possess good conversation skills in English. We are looking for a local with North Indian background who can understand and speak some hindi too.  

Moreover, the individual must dress according to hospitality norms when working at front desk. (No visible tatto, good hygenie practices, shower daily and use deodrant/perfume/cologne to work)

Important is that the individual must have his/her own transportation (like motorbike or car) to reduce the exposure of the person to COVID-19 cases in public. 

The person must be able to work in shifts. Right now only morning (7 AM to 3 PM) and afternoon (3PM to 11 PM) shifts. 


Job Requirement
1) Check guests in and out of their rooms

2) Greet and welcome guests

3) Be able to use online proprery management system

4) Check, sort and forward emails

5) Answer any questions guests have

6) Make recommendations for activities and restaurants

8) Answer the phone and direct the call

9) Take reservations on the phone, whatsapp and facebook messenger

10) Answer any queries on phone, whatsapp and facebook messenger

11) Arrange transportation for guests

11) Maintain the record of guests that have checked in and out

12) Be able to perform some housekeeping duties when necessary
