Freelance Job Description
- NUS School of Computing is looking for an experienced freelance WordPress Developer situated in Singapore to work on a website migration project.
- Work closely with IT Unit and Communications team to migrate an existing website built on Joomla, consisting of around 1500 pages into a visually appealing and fully functional WordPress website within a 2 months duration.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates from scratch, tailored to specific stakeholders needs, using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP.
- Leverage your deep knowledge of Elementor Pro to design and implement engaging web pages with dynamic elements, animations and interactive features.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Optimize websites for performance, ensuring fast load times, smooth navigation, and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring websites function flawlessly across different browsers and devices. Communicate effectively with the team, providing regular updates. Provide guidance and recommendations to improve website functionality, user experience, and design aesthetics.
Job Requirement
- Demonstrated experience as a freelance WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress websites and templates you've developed, emphasizing Elementor Pro usage.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for creating custom WordPress themes and templates. In-depth understanding of Elementor Pro and its advanced features for designing complex layouts, interactive elements, and animations.
- Experience in responsive web design, ensuring optimal performance on various devices and screen sizes.
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote freelance capacity.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote project members.
- Detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project timelines.
