Shimes Education is offering 4 unique positions of Mathematics Game Creator as part of its project team. This is a part-time position which promises a basic one-off salary and continual royalties for the content created. We are looking for teachers and tutors who are passionate about education and who value creativity in teaching.
Resource Requirement (Qualifications & Experiences)
- Minimum of Diploma or 'A' level qualification
- Able to write well in English
- Currently teaching or tutoring Maths to P3 or P4 students
- Able to create digital designs on Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
Job Description
You are required to create simple Mathematics games catered to students of Primary 3 and Primary 4 standard. These games are to be designed on the Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 platform. Basic tutorials and guidance will be provided.
- Team project meeting: Once a week, Saturday, 2hours
- 1 game to be created per week, up to a maximum of 5 games in total
- Commitment: Maximum of 8 weeks, starting in mid-July
- Location: (for weekly meeting) City Area
- 5% royalties for every ebook sold (compilation of Mathematics games), with above $1000 potential (as a conservative estimate)
- $300 advance of royalties at the end of 8-week of project
