Part time Job Description

Title: English Teacher Role:
Teaching English to non-native youth speakers. 
Salary: $50/hour (plus attendance bonus)
Job Type: Part-time,
Contract Number of hires for this role: 1 Legally eligible to work in the Singapore Erudite SIngapore is currently recruiting part-time English Language teachers to teach at our Novena campus. We are seeking candidates with immediate availability and preferably looking to fill long-term positions. We offer a variety of different teaching schedules, including afternoons and evenings, along with partial-week schedules. Classes are delivered in face-to-face or online classes.

Job Requirement

Duties and responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 
* Teach scheduled contact hours as scheduled by Management

* Complete the necessary administrative work required for classes in a timely manner

* Prepare materials and resources relevant to your classes, including handouts, quizzes, tests, and assignments as needed for each course
* Help students with queries they may have and communicate this with the appropriate department
* Actively participate in teacher meetings and all staff development activities
 Minimum requirements: 
* Diploma or equivalent
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
* TEFL or TESOL or CELTA certificate required
* Use of Standard English, spoken with an Received Pronunciation accent or Standard American English accent when conducting lessons required
* Highly motivated, proactive, and positive
* Organised and thorough and able to work well under pressure and within strict time constraints
* Excellent planning and organization skills, with good attention to detail
* Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge is a plus
