Part time Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to enter information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate pays great attention to detail, is computer savvy, a fast typist and able to follow procedure. Understand that all data and information is confidential and that the company will rely on you for entering and maintaining accurate information into the database.
Responsibilities:
• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Open and maintain customer accounts using information provided
• Open new product skus using information provided
• Transfer data from paper formats into database
• Reporting problems with the data
• Analyzing the data for errors
Requirements:
• Great attention to detail
• Fast & accurate typing skills
• Basic understanding of databases
• Proven experience as Data Entry Clerk
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer
• Good command of both French and English, oral and written
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel)
