Graphic Artist

Job Description
At Eye Spies, we are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to craft the best player experiences through their knowledge of systemic design, graphic design, interactivity, layout, typography, colour theory and illustration.You will be responsible for implementing game functionality, translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game. 
Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in Graphic Design, designed engaging web or in-game UI experiences, mastered creatively conceptualizing digital experiences, possess exceptional aesthetic judgment with a keen eye for light, colour, value, form, typography and composition.

Objectives 
Determine the requirements and timeline to complete the art assets required Create and design digital materials. Collaborate with team to develop design concepts as required. New & innovative ideation for Social media & internal communication. Must be proficient in basic design programs including Adobe Creative Suite Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames along with feedback.  Keep the project up to date, listening to and acting on feedback, and explaining the rationale behind graphic design decisions. Review final layouts and suggesting improvements if required. Keep up to date with design and software trends. In-house graphic designers work mainly typical office hours but may need to work longer when deadlines are approaching.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in game graphic design 
Good working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with User Interface and User Experience design
Exceptional creativity and innovation
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
Familiarity with Unity3D engine
Possess their own workstation
Gaming culture & knowledge about game industry is a plus.
Ability to contribute individually, and participate in cross-functional teams.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree Graphic Design, or related field. Graphic design major preferred.
