POSITION SUMMARY: ACCOUNT MANAGER
We are searching for a high-calibre Account Manager that is able to manage, inspire and influence the team to strive for greater heights.
This candidate is likely to have worked in agency roles before, enjoys the variety and pace of an agency environment. Or someone who has worked in a fast-paced, preferably tech environment in an inhouse role, and is seeking new challenges in an agency environment.
The Account Manager is the day-to-day lead for key clients and will be responsible in driving the PR strategy for the client and managing the team to deliver the results. He/She should have a proven track record in managing stakeholders and possess an ‘owner’s mentality’ to grow the business for both Gloo and the client’s benefit.
To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate your ability to think strategically whilst keeping your eye on executional excellence. You are confident, able to manage clients well and align to their business objectives quickly. You are a strong multi-tasker and are able to deliver despite tight timelines.
Team fit and chemistry is critical. We are looking for individuals who place an equal emphasis on working hard and playing hard.
· Account lead for major clients
· Lead, delegate and manage work to deliver against KPIs
· Manage team to deliver the KPIs for client
· Draft media materials
· Media liaison for pitches
· Support the preparation of presentation decks and lead presentations
· Propose suite of communication services as required to meet clients’ needs
