Office Administrator (Manufacturing MNC)
Location: Tuas South (on shift operations basis)
2 to 10 years of experience in office administration from manufacturing sector
Experience in office staff maintenance: recruitment support, employees’ orientation & training, attendance, part timers/temp staff’s management and other staff administration (insurance renewal/ Work Passes processes, SHN, claims Etc)
The CompanyOur client is an established global manufacturer of cables, leads, cable accessories and systems cater to the use in many different industries and markets which include: mechanical & systems engineering, automotive, MSR technology, electrical, installations engineering, EDC and more.
The PositionThis position reports to the GM/AVP
Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training employees (including
temp staff) and monitoring attendance and OT.
Scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions for office maintenance.
Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
Dealing with email enquiries
Diary management and arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms and conference facilities.
Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
General office management such as ordering stationary, pantries and others.
Organizing travel for company staff and customers.
Giving basic training to the part timers, oversees the functionality of the part timers by providing guidance and instruction.
Checking the clock in and out time for all staff (full time and part time)
Providing administration support to the staff (SHN, WP processes, insurance renewal, claims, etc).
Arranging both internal and external events.
