Job Description
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. - Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. - Documents financial transactions by entering account information and recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. - Summarizes current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports. - Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. - Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. - Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. - Secures financial information by completing database backups and maintains financial security by following internal controls. - Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements. - Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. - Handle ad hoc project or assignment as and when required.
Job Requirement
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in accounting/ professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. - Experience in Management Accounting, Project Costing and Group Management Reporting. - Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment. - Able to work independently. - Excellent analytical skills with strong financial system process knowledge. - Able to communicate with all levels, assertive and encourages teamwork.
