Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for delivering initiatives and upgrades for the vendor packages (FIX engine, message adaptors etc.) supporting the FX Derivatives trading. This role will also entails providing support for production issues and will work with the various stakeholders on vendor onboarding to the FIX gateway.
Job Requirement
Technical Skills Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design Fluency in JavaScript (ES5 and ES6), HTML5 and CSS3 Knowledge of web design and the fundamentals of user experience Knowledge of the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques. Experience building component-based web apps with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular, Ember) Experience in MQ/JMS messaging and XML-based technology Strong knowledge of Windows/ Linux based systems Proficient in security protocols such as TLS/SSL Prior experience supporting high performance applications, process monitoring and troubleshooting Strong practical experience in core Java; familiarity with Spring Boot, Docker, SQL Experience with AWS (eg. EC2, S3) Experience with microservices Familiarity with source control using Git High level of ownership and accountability A DevOps mind-set toward build / test / deploy Desirable: Exposure to FX options, Swaps and Interest Rate products High Performance and Optimization techniques Work expectations Participate in Kanban team, responsible for multiple tasks and deliveries Work closely with Business Support teams to understand software requirements Dynamic, motivated, hard-working, willing to try new things, always with a can-do attitude Provide UAT Support and carry out Deployment
