Job Description
Manage vendors to implement course transformation through sound learning design principles and learning assets development Work with curriculum experts and faculty from NTU together with vendors to ensure that the online learning modules developed are aligned to the learning outcomes of the relevant modules Assist vendors in accessing and uploading developed assets and learning content, within the development environment and to the production environment Provide learning design services which include analysis of content, chunking and sequencing of learning activities, identifying appropriate tools, solutions and web services to be used in the course. Source for and evaluate appropriate eLearning tools / software applications to be used in the campus Work with vendors to develop the learning design activities that will contain engaging rich-media for the online learning activities within these modules Engage faculty to explore possibilities of TEL development for their courses and recommend a variety of approaches and solutions for the courses Collaborate with other CITS teams to resolve/highlight faculty queries/issues during TEL development Provide regular updates to TEL Coordinators and School Academic teams regarding progress/issues faced with School TEL projects Organise and support annual events such as TEL Fest and Innovations in Teaching Seminar (IITS)
Job Requirement
Possess a degree or post-degree qualification in Instructional/Learning Design, Educational Technology or a related field in Education and Training Other Degree holders with relevant experience in Educational Technology and Instructional Design will also be considered At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience consisting of at least 2-3 years of online learning/instructional design experience in designing and developing online modules for secondary and tertiary level subjects or adult learning level subjects Demonstrated experience with the use and integration of instructional technology within a variety of curriculum and subject areas Be familiar with contemporary principles of online Learning course design, development and delivery Efficiency with the use and integration of online Learning technologies and their application in Blended Learning Environments \ Current knowledge of and expertise in online course production for educational environments
