Providing leadership and management of day
-day dining hall operations.
Provide forecast of the meal plan budget. Manage the costs for all promotions and meal enhancement and work to achieve within the targeted budget cohesively.
Chairing monthly performance debrief sessions with appointed vendor and ensure all improvement areas and corrective action needed by all parties are followed up thoroughly.
Monitor compliance with all regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and including oversight on building safety/ maintenance of dining facilities.
Maintain records required by government agencies regarding sanitation.
Manage the kitchen facilities and replacement of faulty kitchen equipment.
To carry out monthly surprise site inspections.
Work with stakeholders to seamlessly implementation the new dining mobile application across the dining halls.
To work closely with both appointed vendor and students via the Student Dining Committee and ensure the meal requirements are fulfilled.
Continuously introduce innovative ideas to create enjoyable dining experiences for resident.
Constantly reviewing menus and product ranges to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained.
To engage catering services for events such as banquets or receptions etc.
Establish and foster good relationships with College/Hall Masters and residents on meal related matters.
Ensure high standard of hygiene and sanitation is maintained and the food served is safe.
Handling administration and required paperwork.
Job Requirement
Preferably Degree in Hospitality Management while Diploma holders with extensive experience will be considered.
Proven managerial experience, preferably 5 years and above in Food& Beverage operations for large, complex facilities such as medical facilities, army camps, boarding schools and hostels.
Innovative and creative in menu planning with good knowledge of dietary and nutritional requirements.
Strong leadership skills with excellent people skills.
A good team player who is passionate, proactive, meticulous and responsible with a willingness to learn.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Able to perform shifts and work on weekends when needed during events.
