Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant supports daily financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with internal controls. This role is essential in helping maintain the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile financial transactions
Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
Maintain accurate and organized financial files and documentation
Support payroll and billing processes
Assist in audits and other financial reviews
Communicate with vendors and clients as needed
Perform general administrative tasks for the finance team
Job Requirement
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and time management
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
