Freelance Job Description

Scope

• identify the List of EOL Devices from Service​
• Receive the Assets from OEM and Keeping in the Storeroom​
• Asset Tag Generate, Print & Pasting​
• Asset Upload in Service Now​
• Unbox, Imaging & Profile creation​
• Contact the User and get an appointment for a replacement​
• Take a confirmation on pickup date​
• Appointment follow-up with end-user (frequency TBD)​
• Receive New devices from OEM​
• Build the new machine​
• Dispatch new device to Regional sites​
• Receive old devices in central location​
• Disposal / HDD wipe of old device​
• Reports – Weekly and Monthly​

Out of scope

• Installing at the desk of additional sites different from Headquarter or Data center selected for the deploy​
• Installing at the desk of the remote end users the devices ​
• Backup in one drive and migration of data for each user​
• Procurement follow up​
• Additional Software installation (not present in the image) and SAM update​
• Old PC to be removed and report back in boxes ​
• Old Asset Recovery/Return from the remote users, after dispatching the new Asset. ​
• 3 consecutive working days follow-ups with the end user, and after that Customer should take it.​
• To be evaluated additional requests for Laptop buyback requests
Job Requirement
  • Looking for 1-2 years’ experience, but willing to train a recent grad or someone looking to change careers and start in IT.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and translate information between technical and non-technical parties.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document technical issues.
  • Understanding of networking and server administration a plus.
  • Great with computers, tech savvy with a high aptitude for learning technology.
  • Prior work with Windows Operating systems.
  • Proficient use of Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills and adaptability are a must.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with a desire for continual learning.
  • Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. unassisted.
