Freelance Job Description
The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health’s Singapore Population Health Studies unit is looking for surveyors to recruit and interview participants for its long-term health study. These participants must be of Malay or Indian ethnicity. Hence, proficiency in Melayu or Tamil would be a great advantage.
The interviewer will make cold calls or approach potentially eligible participants to invite them to the research study, and conduct consent-taking and interviewing face-to-face. The consent-taking and interview would be recorded on a tablet and audio-recorder.
Walk-in interviews will be conducted at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, Tahir Foundation Building, 12 Science Drive 2 #11-02 Singapore *** on 26 Sep 2022 and 10 Oct 2022, 3-5pm.
Only those who can commit at least 30 hours per week, weekly submission at the office and able to attend a 4-day training in November 2022 need attend.
Accepted applicants will be offered a Contract for Service for 6 months. Payment is piece-rated; approximately *** per month if working 40-45hrs per week.
Job Requirement
‘A’ level or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of any work experience.
Interviewer required to recruit and communicate with malay and tamil-speaking participants and members of the public. Proficiency in English and Malay/Tamil will be a great advantage.
Proficient at using tablet for interviews.
