Freelance Job Description


As a global education services provider with a presence in the UK,  Australia and Singapore, BlueSky Education provides short term and skills-based programmes for students in the UK, Australia and Singapore/Malaysia. Our online and in-person short courses are designed to prepare students for their future with a variety of programmes which cater to skills needed in the years to come, whether that be learning how to code in our Robotics Programme, how to be business ready in our Business Management Programme or how to become a fantastic speaker in our Public Speaking & Leadership programme. There is something for everyone at BlueSky Education and we want students to come away with not only better English skills but also life skills that they can take with them through life far after camp has ended.

We are currently recruiting seasonal activity staff for our winter camp in Singapore this coming June to August. . Please note the positions are non-residential.


Summer Camp Dates:  26th June - 9 July // 17th - 30th July // 31 July - 13th August / 31 July - 7 August / 14-20 August 2022 
One training day prior to programmes’ commencement: TBA

Job Requirement
Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To supervise, engage and encourage students to participate fully in all aspects of the leisure and activity programme.
  • To prepare, lead and deliver safe and exciting activities and excursions.
  • To promote the safety and welfare of all students in Blue Sky’s care.
  • To assist with student arrivals and departures.
  • To assist with general day-to-day duties including meal monitoring and administration tasks, as directed by senior staff. 
  • To ensure students are informed about meeting points and times along with upcoming events.
  • To respond to problems and emergency situations as appropriate.
  • To protect the property and resources of Blue Sky and its partners. Be responsible for packing resources in an organized manner.
  • To understand and adhere to the Blue Sky Child Safeguarding policy.


  • Responsible, enthusiastic, and organized 
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and lead activities/excursions
  • Approaches work with a ‘can-do’ and flexible attitude
  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent
  • Be available to attend training prior to the camp  
Remuneration: Commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience.
