Freelance Job Description

In need of mentors for a Gear Up Programme for Juying Secondary School (Jurong West)
Looking for: 2 x Mentors
Day/Dates: Every Thursdays, 1.30pm to 6pm (mix of 14 indoor and 6 outdoor sessions- sessions may be converted online according to SMM)
Start Date: 4 Feb 2022
End Date: 2 Nov 2022
Time: 1.30pm - 5pm (indoor sessions) 1.30pm - 6pm (outdoor sessions)
Student Profile: 20-25 Sec 2 and 3 students selected for Gear Up Prog 1 mentor to 4-5 students

Job scope for Mentors:
- Execute and facilitate planned indoor activities for the students
- Manage and oversee students for outdoor activities
- Lead/Debrief activities in group setting (Mentors will take turns leading sessions)
- Conduct personal mentoring and student development activities
- Consistently check-in with students through informal meetups and/or WhatsApp call/text during school holidays or weeks with no sessions
Job Requirement
Requirements:

- MOE Instructor Registration

- Fully vaccinated

- Experience in engaging youths would be a bonus
Preferred skills:

Youth Mentoring
Facilitation
