Copywriter For Govt Projects (freelance, Up To $1,200 Per Month)

As a copywriter, you will:
1. Write and curate content for government website and app to help users understand complex government processes, schemes and products/services in layman terms
2. Research industry-related topics and curate content from multiple online sources
3. Identify needs and gaps in current website content and recommend new topics
4. Conduct necessary cross-checking and verifying accuracy of statements to ensure consistency
5. Ensure all-around consistency in content (style, fonts, images and tone)
6. Keep website content update on a weekly basis
7. Proofread posts before all publications

8. Coordinate with the team handling design and development to illustrate articles
9. Coordinate with multiple teams for inputs, accuracy checks, etc

Copywriting:
1. You have proven experience as a copywriter or related role (please share with us your past projects and relevant experience)
2. You are able to write clearly and succinctly
3. You are able to translate complex government processes, schemes and services into layman terms so that users can understand
4. You are able to prepare well-structured drafts and take feedback to iterate and improve quickly
Project Management:
1. Able to commit to deadlines and collaborate with different stakeholders
2. You are resourceful, creative with a collaborative spirit
3. Excellent time-management and organisational skills      
Bonus:
1. You have hands-on experience with basic coding e.g HTML/CSS/YAML/Markdown
2. You have experience working with MS Visual Studio/Github, MS office software
To start immediately (Nov/Dec 2020 till Feb 2021)
